Hi guys! Presenting to you team PandeSAL!

Hurdle 1 down, many more hurdles to go! :)) Anyway, at first, our thesis topic was entitled PANDeSAL which means, Pinoy AgeNt Development through Empathic Sensitive Artificial Listener. Deviating from the shadow of Sensitive Artificial Listeners, we decided to remove the SAL part of the topic and now, we have this thesis title:

Developing a Filipino Embodied Conversational Agent for an Intelligent Tutoring System

I admit that there were n number of misunderstandings between me and the group because of our work ethics. There are times that I wish that I do not belong to this group or sometimes, I wish that we have a different adviser/topic but nevertheless, these problems made us stronger and better.

After numerous failed data collection methods, failed model building, here we are now, passing our first defense. I am very proud of my groupmates especially during the defense. We have been fully covered and guided by God’s grace for the whole 40-45 minutes of defending our thesis.
